DESCRIPTION:VIA ALPINA – Beyond the Trail movie is selected for the XXVI edition of the International Festival of Mountain Film  ( Medzinárodný Festival Horských Filmov Poprad) taking place from 10th to 14th of october 2018 in Poprad\,  Slovakia.  \nMedzinárodný Festival Horských Filmov Poprad  is member of the International Alliance for mountain film  (IAMF) gathering 24 prestigious mountain film festivals in 18 countries across  \nThe Festival’s mission is to develop and promote the values of mountain cinematography. It offers spectators not only a symbolical “window on the world” but also tries to steer their interest towards protecting nature and the environment\, and towards the sports and cultures of foreign nations. Thus\, it stimulates them to assume collective responsibility for the state of the world around us. DESCRIPTION: VIA ALPINA – BEYOND  is part of the official selection of the Milano Mountain Film Festival taking place in Milan from 25 to 28 september 2018.  \nMilano Mountain Film Festival is an international mountain film festival organized by the Associazione Montagna Italia and dedicated to the promotion of high altitude cinema.\nThe Festival promotes a film competition open to all Italian and foreign producers who can send films\, animated films\, documentaries and short\, medium and feature films with the theme of knowledge and discovery of mountains all over the world\, climbing\, exploration\, mountaineering . \nEvery year\, over 100 film productions from different countries participate in the Festival. The film competition is also accompanied by a themed photography contest . \nThe detailed program of the event is made available  on the website of the Associazione Montagna Italia . \n
